WCG 2009 Grand Final Group Drawing Rules
WCG 2009 Grand Final group drawing will be held as follows. We invite all country representatives and WCG friends to take part in this event through our website. and hereby, WCG announces the detailed rule of 2009 GF group Drawing.
WCG 2009 Grand Final Group Drawing Rules
Date: Oct. 19th ~ 21st , 2009 3:00 PM (GMT+9)
Location: World Cyber Games Inc. Conference Room, Seoul, Korea
Announcement of participants' list and their initial seeding: Oct. 19th
Game titles that will be presented during the event : 10 titles
• Asphalt 4: Elite Racing / Carom 3D / Counter-Strike / FIFA 09 / Guitar Hero: World Tour /StarCraft: Brood War / Trackmania Nations Forever / Virtua Figher 5 / Warcraft III: The FrozenThrone / Wise Star 2
• There will be no group drawing for Red Stone and Dungeon & Fighter .

• Everyone can watch the results of the group drawing in real-time at the WCG official website.

General Regulation
• WCG committee will select 2~8 competitive players (team) per game, based on their reputations and previous records, will be given a special seeding. List of the 'seed players (teams)' for each game title will be announced on October 19th, with map rotation information.

- Oct. 19: Asphalt 4 > Wise Star 2 > Counter-Strike
- Oct. 20: Guitar Hero > Virtua Fighter 5 > FIFA 09
- Oct. 21: Carom 3D - > Trackmania Nations Forever - > StarCraft - > Warcraft III
- Oct. 19: Asphalt 4 > Wise Star 2 > Counter-Strike

• Group drawing for each game title will be conducted by following order.
a. Announcement of seeded players (teams)
b. Group drawing for non-seeded players (teams)
c. Group drawing for seeded player (teams).
• Group drawing will proceed with the country that comes first alphabetically. This rule will be applied to bothnon-seed player group and seed player group.
• If there are multiple players from a single country, the order will be 3rd place, 2nd place, then 1st place.
• If two players from the same country are drawn into the same group, the drawing will be re-done. (Except when re-drawing is not possible, such as the last country/player to be drawn.)
• Results of the group drawing are final, and no objections will be recognized by any person or organization.
